In the 94th minute, sheer ecstasy broke out for Chelsea and interim manager Calum McFarlane as Enzo Fernández stabbed home a dramatic equaliser. The goal left Pep Guardiola in a state of despair and provided the stand-in Chelsea manager a career-defining moment. On paper, Guardiola versus McFarlane represented the Premier League's most pronounced managerial mismatch, making the memory of Fernández's crucial intervention one to warm the 40-year-old in his dotage.

A Stark Contrast in Experience
